MCh Endocrine Surgery

  • one seat per year 
  • three year super-specialty course in Endocrine Surgery.
  • open to all candidates who have completed the M.S general surgery course and preferably two years experience working in a general surgery department.
  • admission to this course is based on an all- India entrance examination and an interview as advertised in the CMC prospectus.

Senior House Officer

  • Post M.B.B.S  

Registrars doing basic general surgery training rotate through our unit for two months during which they are exposed to management of patients with breast cancer, thyroid nodule assessment and other endocrine diseases, which would equip them to be a well-trained general surgeon in the community.

The specialty is a relatively new specialty in the world and in our country with focus on training of surgical management of endocrine disorders including benign breast diseases and breast oncology.
