  • The fellowship in Upper GI and Bariatric surgical course offered by Department of Surgery Unit 3, CMC Hospital, Vellore would be a two year course.
  • One candidate per year will be selected.
  • The course will be offered to candidates who have passed the MS General Surgery or DNB General surgery.
  • Candidates must have worked for at least two years after qualification, preferably in the field of GI Surgery.
  • The course will be fully residential with accommodation provided.
  • Training will be hands on, graded and supervised.
  • Entry will be by examination and interview.
  • Candidates will be eligible for emoluments as per institutional rules. Partly furnished single accommodation will be provided.
  • Course fees, examination fees will be according to the institutional and MCI rules.
